The gas powered bicycle motor kit is adaptable to most bikes except for some bikes with rear suspension. This motor kit has also been adapted for use on trikes. Installation can be accomplished by following the instructions available on this web site. The gas powered bicycle can be operated with or without the motor running. The motor kit comes with a thumb throttle and kill switch that are mounted on the handlebars. This dependable motor requires no mixing of gas and oil. The gas powered engine for bicycles is pull started and has a centrifugal (automatic) clutch so no clutch lever is needed. The motor starts easily, usually on the first pull. Gas mileage is 100 mpg+. This motor is of Chinese origin and is an excellent copy of a 4-cycle Honda motor. It comes with everything necessary to motorize your bicycle. The motor is EPA approved and certified and it has a closed fuel system and a catalytic converter to protect the environment. Optional items for this motor kit are the clamshell sprocket adapter, and spring loaded chain tensioner. These optional items will be offered to purchasers of this motor kit at a 50 percent discount.
