Welcome to Live Fast Motors.
1. QUESTION: What bike works best for motorizing? ANSWER: For the center mount motors 48,60 and
70CC: The Sun, Schwinn and Huffy Beach Cruisers all seem to work well.
Many Mountain bikes will work also. It should be a mens' bike so you
will have a place to mount the gas tank. The most important element is
to have enough room in the "V" area of the bike. A good way to
determine this is to take two sticks 11 inches long each. Form an "X"
with the two sticks. If the X fits in the V area of the bike you will
have enough room for the motor. The rear mount TR2 friction roller, and
the CD4 rear mount Chain drive will fit most bikes.

4. QUESTION: Is your online ordering secure? ANSWER: Yes, our shopping cart uses a Verisign Secure Server to make sure that your order is secured with encryption. Your privacy and security are important to us. Every financial transaction takes place via a secure, SSL-encrypted server. The SSL protocol-the industry standard in security-uses 128-bit encryption to encrypt all of your personal information, including name, address and credit card number.
5. QUESTION: Is a motorized bike legal to use in my area? ANSWER: We are not a source for legal advise.
Check with your local city or state Motor Vehicle Department or Police
Department. That being said, in many areas if the bike motor is under
50CC's and is also pedal powered, it does not require license or
registration and can be ridden just like a bicycle.
6. QUESTION: What is the easiest motor to install? ANSWER: A person with average mechanical ability
can be successful with any of the kits, but the easiest would be the
TR2 Friction Roller.
7. QUESTION: Which is the most quiet motor? ANSWER: The CD4 rear mount chain drive 4 cycle motor. Next would be any of the center mount motors. The loudest would be the TR2.
8. QUESTION: Can I return my motor kit if I don't like it? ANSWER: No. Our profit margin is so low that we cannot accept returns. Sales are final.
9. QUESTION: Do you offer any quarantees? ANSWER: Yes. For 30 days we will repair or replace items defective from the factory. Buyer pays only for shipping.
10. QUESTION: Do people like your products? ANSWER: Yes, over 1/3 of our business comes from previous customers and referrals.
11. QUESTION: Why are your center mount motors (48, 60, and 70CC) a little more expensive than some of your competitors? ANSWER: Quality. We purchase all of our motors
directly from a factory that only sells to CJR IMPORTS LLC for the U.S.
and Canadian markets. Our motors are assembled by factory trained
employees from new first run quality parts. Our competitors purchase
their motors from "brokers" who have suppliers who buy up spare parts
from several factories and other sources and then hire untrained
employees to assemble the motors. These motors are often not reliable.
One thing you can count on is that you will likely not be able to
contact the company or individual you purchased one of these motors
from.
12. QUESTION: Why don't you offer an 80CC motor like others? ANSWER: We prefer to be honest. ALL of the larger
motors are 69.7 CC....we chose to call our motor a 70CC ... which it
is, others call their motor an 80CC which is misleading and not
correct. Our TIGER 70CC is the most powerful and reliable motor of this
type on the market today.
13. QUESTION: Are the rear drive motors you offer....the TR2 (2 cycle frictions roller) and the CD4 4 cycle chain drive motors made by Honda? ANSWER: No. They are Honda designed motors. The fit, finish and quality are excellent.
14. QUESTION: Where can I find an OCC Schwinn Chopper? ANSWER: Schwinn has recently discontinued production
of the OCC Schwinn Chopper. There are still some choppers to be found
at various stores, also many of these popular bikes can still be
located using Craig's List and search engines such as Google.
